The spring sampling phase of our EU-supported project focusing on investigating plastic pollution and developing management strategies in the Çoruh Basin and the Ça臒layan-Ar谋l谋 Valleys has just begun. The sampling study, which included the participation of academics from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, was conducted in the Ça臒layan Valley of F谋nd谋kl谋, Rize. Prof. Dr. Kadir Seyhan, the Project Coordinator from the 雪梨视频 CARESEA Research Group, stated: "I can say that our region is relatively clean. We will share the data on plastic and heavy metal pollution with the local community in the coming period." As known, the project will last for 2 years.
